Interactive Installation:
Photography, real time video rendering, animation
Cry is an interactive screen based installation in which the audience gazes upon his/her
own augmented image. The person looks at the screen at an indicated distance, and realizes
moistening of his/her eyes. The process occurs in real-time as the mirrored emotion gets
rigidly uneasy and turns into a cry. Precision on facial incidence and stimulation is
necessary. The intervals indicate a facial encountering; an intense moment reasoned to
shock the viewer in an unexpected and affectionate manner.
